Help With Handling Domains
We are trying to reduce our monthly overhead and are paying a host (similar to GoDaddy) an excessive monthly fee for doing nothing.
We have one domain that has mail DNS records going to Office 365 and web DNS records going to Wix.
The other domain also have mail DNS records going to Office 365 and has no other function.
It seems that we can't just transfer the domains into Office 365 (not supported) and don't want them parked (because we want to use them).
So I am not sure what I am looking for, yet we have a home Ubuntu server available or are wiling to pay a provider a lower cost per month just to hold our domains?
Any recommendations?

Sorry I am in the US and I am paying about $15USD per month for a traditional host that does no web hosting or email services.

USD 15 per month??
I can register foreign domains for far less than that.
I think you need to shop around.
You are taking about domain registration and DNS only?
Alan.

I agree. If you don't need web hosting then you can transfer/register domains to another registrar (for example, name.com) for under $20/yr and you'll have the ability to point your MX records to O365.

Tip: You'll have far better answers if you post your actual domain name.

Alan: Yes, only need registration and DNS capabilities. Do not need hosting or mail (which is what the monthly fee is going towards) which is being handled by O365 and Wix.
For Registration + Hosting only, you'll research your domain's TLD + find the cheapest registrar which handle your TLD.
If you'd like better suggestions of which Registrar to use, post your actual domain name.

cloudflare is now offering dns registration with no markup for some tld's i.e. .com/net/org unfortunately not .ca as of now
Hi Brad,
Then I would suggest something equivalent to NZD 25 per annum is right - you might save another few dollars, but that kind of amount.

So the domain is realtechsolutions.biz. Hope that helps!
Hi Brad,
I just checked, and I could register realtechsolutions.biz for NZ$21.50 pa.
I think you said you were in the USA, so that would be (right now) about US$14 per annum (not per month!)
For that you would get registration and DNS.

Not sure where you are, and obviously foreign domain registrars will have different costs, but I pay about NZD 21 per year for registration and DNS.
That would be something like GBP 10 pa or whatever your local currency is.
Not much savings to be had for a couple of domains.
Alan.
