"Office Update" NOT working for Office 365

We have enabled automatic updates on a few machines in our company but the automatic udate don't seem to work. Furthermore when we force the update we get a mesage saying that the machine is up to date but in fact it is not since the version on the machine is1803 (build 9126.2315). I have attached a screen shot of the current version on my machine machine.

Any ideas?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It is just waiting for widespread distribution. Restart one computer and try updating manually. That should work

Update Windows to V1809 and see if that updates Office as well.
racinecondeAuthor Commented:
we can't update windows on individual computers, it is all managed centrally (over 4000 machines)
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
Then you need to wait until your central updater updates to V1809. Office will update with it.

You could take one machine off automatic, update it, and see.

It looks like you have a subscription to office 365  In office 365 management portal .. organization profile / release preferences how do you have it set standard release or targeted release? 2019-04-14_15-54-23.png
racinecondeAuthor Commented:
I believe we have it set at Standard.

Based on your screenshot, that machine is on the semi-annual channel for office.

1803 and 1808 are both considered the "latest" supported version for that channel as documented here:

So being on 1803 is not indicative of an issue. The uodate service has hit a blocking condition for 1808 and acted accordingly, which is why 1803 is still listed as the latest supported SAC version in the article I linked to.
