ESXi host can't add NAS storage

I using Vcenter 5.5 connected three esxi host found one of esxi host can't connect to NAS storage

1. Add this NAS from esxi host > Storage Adapters >   Dynamic Discovery > iSCSI  server location
2. Add this NAS from esxi host > Storage Adapters >   Static Discovery > Discovered or manually iSCSI target

Problems:
1. Can not find those NAS from Ethernet Adapter
2. Can not find NAS from > Storage > Scan All and Refresh

The other two esxi host can connect to this NAS with same network switch.

First make sure that the host has as VMKernel port that can connect to the storage.  If you're trying to connect via iSCSI this is a block protocol and will require the IQN on the ESXi host to be present on the storage devices.  Check to see if the initiator on that host is added to the storage and then login to the host itself and verify that you can ping the storage devices from the ESXi host directly

ASKER

1. VMKernel port has connected storage
2.  " The IQN" have added  esxi
3.  Ping response is normal
4.  We arrange this trip Dynamic Discovery > iSCSI  server location
On the host with missing datastore, do you see the LUN ?

(you have a SAN, - Block Storage iSCSI), a NAS is network attached storage e.g. CIFS and NFS.

Unless this is a Hybrid SAN/NAS like a NetApp Filer.
1. LUN is created.  Others ESXi is can connected this LUN with same switch set.
2. By using iSCSI by 10Gb Ethernet card

Thanks.
On the host with missing datastore, do you see the LUN ?

also use VMKPING and not PING.
Hi
Total three hosts connected this  SAN storage with same switch set. Only this host storage can not to this SAN.
However,  this host can connect others SAN under same switch
Try from the other end, can the SAN see the host? Although you can manually add IQNs to the storage it's much easier if they discover the hosts, then there can't be any typos.
restart esxi host and problem is sovled
