Windows 10 WiFi Access Problem
I'm running Windows 10 Pro version 1803 on a Dell Latitude 6330. WiFi is disabled. The WiFi switch in Settings is set to "Off". Turn WiFi back on is set to "Manually". I cannot get the switch to stay set on "On". The Network Connection icon in the system tray says WiFi Turned off. I have tried rebooting, turning the PC off and on, removing the battery. So far I can't find a fix. Ethernet is the only way I can connect to the internet. Can someone recommend a fix?
It is a typical driver problem.
Can you post back the name of wifi device in Device Manager?

The Network Adapter is an Intel Centrino Ultimate 6300 AGN.
I tried John's solution;
1. Turned WiFi switch on
2. Located Network Adapter > Disabled it
3. Restarted > checked settings / Network & Internet WiFi was gone > checked Airplane Mode - "No wireless devices found"
4. Went back to Device Manager > Enabled wireless adapter - same problem as before - the WiFi switch will not stay "on". Network connection indicator in system tray indicates ethernet connection says WiFi "Turned Off".
Did I follow the steps correctly?

Either the card is bad or the switch itself is bad. Try a USB wireless card (as was also suggested above)

Are you on the newest driver?
Here is the driver from Dell for your network adapter:
https://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER01694272M/2/Network_Driver_4FW6K_WN_15.10.0.10_A03.EXE
And here it is directly from the manufacturer:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/59474/Intel-Centrino-Ultimate-N-6300-Dual-Band
However, looks like the one on Dell shows the newest date.
If that doesn't work, like what has already been mentioned, a USB wireless adapter is probably the way to go.

Thanks. I can see the Centrino Ultimate 6300 AGN network adapter is "discontinued". The driver currently installed is "version 15.18.0.1". I completed the Windows search for updated drivers and got "Windows determined the best driver is already installed". I tried the Dell link and got an error message stating the driver downloaded is for Windows 32 bit. I'm on 64 bit. I'll got back to Dell shortly to see if I can find a link to download the latest 64 bit driver. I downloaded the Intel driver update. When I ran it I got the following error "This installation of Intel(R) PRO/Wireless Drivers requires that your computer is running 32 bit Windows 7 or greater. Thanks again. Please add any additional insights / options to fix this. I'm hoping I don't need to buy a new computer right now. Everything else is working fine.
See what Dell says. They should easily provide a 64-bit driver as the vast majority of systems are now 64-bit. Same for Intel.
Try this one. It may work. Its for Windows 8 but I learned sometimes with Dell, the version below is the one that will work.
This is 64-bit specifically for that adapter:

I tried downloaded and installed the link provided for the 64 bit driver. I got an "Installation successful" result. I checked the driver in Device Manager. It did not change. I rebooted. Still no change. I still cannot turn the WiFi switch in Network Connections to "On" and get it to hold in the "On" position. I did not go to Dell myself to search for a new driver. I will soon when I can make time. I did a quick search on Amazon for a USB wireless adapter. They are cheap. I was unaware of USB adapters before your help and suggestions. I will use that option if the driver solution does not work. Thanks!
if this problem is recent - a systemr estore to a day it was ok will help you out !

The problem started several months ago. I can connect to the internet via ethernet. I don't travel too much and I was backed up with work so I tabled the issue until now. I do have backups. However, I'm not exactly sure when the problem first occurred because I am usually connected with ethernet. If can't fix the installed wireless adapter, I will get a USB adapter and try that. The laptop is 4 years old. I plan to replace it in another year. Thanks for the suggestion.

I went to Dell support this morning. I couldn't find any information that has not already been provided by Experts Exchange. I am going to place an order for a USB wireless adaptor. I am hoping that will work. Thanks to everyone that contributed!
Now in Device Manager, find and delete the Wireless Network Adapter.
Restart, and either let Windows find the Wireless NIC again or download it from Dell and Install it.
Now restart again and Wi-Fi should stay ON.
If not, the switch itself may be faulty
