For now, there will be 2 users running Accounting &nbsp;software on the APP server/Terminal server. That is just about the extent of the workload. Both users will be connecting to APP server via Remote Desktop Connection.<br />
If there is no tangible benefits, let me just use one NIC.

Well, the thing is you're going to need both NICs if you're setting up Hyper-V.<br />

One NIC will be for the actual host server.<br />
<br />
The other NIC will need to be added to Hyper-V Virtual Switch for your VMs to have network access.<br />
<br />
If anything, you should pop another NIC in for the VMs and team it. &nbsp;When you team it, it allows for load balancing and redundancy. &nbsp;Basically all traffic going out a teamed connection, assuming you have them teamed as active/active, would be equally distributed among both NICs. &nbsp;In the case that one NIC fails, all traffic will automatically go out the good NIC.

&nbsp;I heard of NIC Teaming. Would I benefit from it?<br />

Hi,
  I have a New Server with SuperMicro X11DPi-N Motherboard that came with two Gigabyte network adapter cards.
 My intention is to install Windows Server 2019, add HyperV role and create two virtual Machines - Domain Controller running W2019 and App Server running also W2019.
 Having said that, I just like to use one network adapter card unless there are benefits of connecting both NICs (getting two separate IP local addresses) to the switch.
 I heard of NIC Teaming. Would I benefit from it?
