EE Advanced Search not working? Or howto?

I'm trying to use Advanced Search.
It doesn't seem to work - which is very frustrating as I'm trying to make quick progress.
I ask for Questions Initiated by Fred Marshall and anything BUT shows up.

And, I don't know where to ask this question.. again.

When you are in Advanced Search, and you select (say) questions by you:

(a) Be sure to use your user name.
(b) Notice below the Member entry is Activity Timeframe. This defaults to one day (!!)  Set it for 30 days and see if you come up. I just tested it, entered questions by thinkpads_user for 30 days and a bunch of hits came up.

Please see if that helps.

John,  My logon username or my Profile Username as displayed?  I tried both.  So far, no filtering on it.
Strange.   Here is an advanced search.

Member = thinkpads_user
Questions = answered or assisted by me
Activity time frame = 90 days.

Results below

John,

Thank you!

Your username displayed is "John" and your login username is thinkpads_user??  You used your login name, right?  So, I checked for my login username and entered that,  Still no results:
Here is the search setup:

Yes. And I used thinkpads_user in the advanced search. Works fine. But I notice that you did not appear to set Activity Timeframe and that defaults to one day (today).  So set that for 30 or 90 days and try again.

Also I use Edge for my browser, but I am fairly sure Chrome works as well

Thanks!!
You are welcome but how come no assist for me or David?
John,  I did give you an assist.  Thank you again!
If you read the original question and David's response, perhaps you will figure out why it wasn't helpful in this case.  Related, yes but ...
I surely appreciate everyone who responds and use the credits as seems appropriate each time.
