I need to convert all fields in a table to upper string. I would prefer to do this with a query.
I need to convert all fields in a table to upper string. I would prefer to do this with a query.
Why not go to Design View for the table, clcik on each (text) field you want to transform to upper case and in the Field Properties in the bottom half of the screen in the General Tab add the 'Greater Than' character > to the Format value.

Also when I export this data will it export Upper Case or what was originally entered??

It will change all data in the table to display in upper case however it was originally entered.
If when you export you choose the option to "Export data with formatting and layout" then the upper case format will also appear in your export otherwise it will export as originally entered.
