Can't log a WIN 10 PRO workstation on to a Server 2012 R2 Essentials server.

Can't connect a WIN 10 PRO workstation to a Server 2012 R2 Essentials server. When trying to logon with any administrative profile system says the domain is not available or does not exist. Yet the system shows to be connected to the domain and we can remove it from the domain to a workgroup. However when we try to connect back to the domain the system shows Welcome to XXX Domain but when trying to logon the message about no domain available pops up.

The most common problem regarding connecting to a domain is DNS-related.  Make sure your IP settings are correct and you're pointing to the correct DNS servers.
It looks like DNS issue.
Make sure your DNS settings on NIC are same as your DNS in domain.
Also for reference, try to set IPv4 prefer over IPv6

Make sure you not using DHCP for server but if you must to, make sure your DHCP server is set correctly.

Yopu can also for test only disable IPv6 on Nic properties and PING controller to check if you'll get proper IP

Thanks for the comeback. We have set static DNS and IP addresses with no change. We have completely disabled IPv6 with no change. We can ping other network computers and other computers can ping this workstation both by DNS and IP. We have rebooted both the workstation and the server with no change. This is the only workstation acting this way and we are just about out of ideas.
Do you have available licenses (connection) to server ? Essentials is very limited.
You must remember that only 25 users or 50 devices are allowed to connect in same time
This is a small network consisting of only 12 machines and users.
Where is your problem? I have produced a video that shows it is quite possible even using the http:\\servername\connect routine
