I have an SSRS report and want to Schedule it to run on the last day of the month. You can't easily do this in subscriptions so I changed the schedule in the job to this:
ScheduleWill this work?

Hello HKFuey,

haven't tried it myself yet, but it should. I also refer to The Data Queen  - Report Manager Subscription Last Day of Month.

As mentioned you should be able to check settings for "Last Run" and "Next Run" in the schedule.

Looks like you can do this on the SQL job. I will find out at the end of the month!
HKFuey,

thanks for your reply-
It would be cool, if you will let us know how it worked next month. Have you made any additional changes to the configuration?

Just another approach....

Based on the SQL Agent Job Scheduler execution time (5:10pm), it is assumed all the transactions for the month in question conclude at 5pm.

I generally run reports on the first day of the month, after the stored procedures and cubes etc have been run with the last day's data for the month included.

Typical scenario.
Run Stored Procedures then SSIS cube rebuild after hours, after the last day of trading for the month. Say 1am, of the first day of the month (I know there will be vitrtually no new transactions between 9pm and 7am).
Then any reports, either viewed real time, or scheduled will have "the best chance" of having complete data for the previous month.

Cheers
Tony

OK, I was wrong. You can change the schedule is SQL management Studio but it then reverts back to the one set in SSRS :(
