Netgear GS724T Credentials
I have several Netgear switches and I don't have the logon credentials. When I navigate to one of the switches. The username box doesn't display. How can I get the username box to display? I've read that I could hit the cancel button then enter the serial number but there's no cancel button.
Netgear has a tool that will automatically discover the switch for you and help you gain access to it:'

I have two of the same switch on my network with static IP addresses. One displays the a single password box and the other shows a side menu with the password box in the middle of the screen. The Reset System and Factory Default buttons are the only active buttons, but I don't want to reset anything unless it's the password.
None of the GS742 models have a username field for the admin account. No harm in trying "password" which is the unsurprising default.

None of the responses resolved my issue.
Is a reset to factory an option?
ASKER
No. I've enlisted a managedIT services company who will deal with the issue at some point. I've moved all but two connections to a different switch.
