Simple answer is NO.

The desktop version of Office is the full featured version you’re most likely familiar with from years past. These are the full desktop apps that you install on your Windows PC or Mac.

Mobile versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint are designed for Windows 10 computer with touchscreen and their capabilities are very limited when compared to the desktop version.

Why? There is no free lunch.

The mobile version is free whereas you need to pay for the annual subscription for Office 365 if you want to download the app from office.com.
