Need fastest application or method to display a jpg file
What is the fastest application or method to view jpg files? I have many that I must sort through and by default they open with Quickview Plus. It takes about 4 to 5 seconds to fully paint the picture. Photoshop is also slow. I have a VERY fast workstation and a VERY fast video card. I just need to know which software to use to be able to doubleclick the filename and have it display instantly. I am certainly open to trying several suggestions. Thanks!

You didn't say the file sizes because larger files will slow it down, also

I prefer HoneyView over InfraView. It is only a viewer

That or show large thumbnails in widows explorer. The first time it will take a while while the thumbnails are created. My picture application of choice is ACDSEE.

Hello Experts. Forgive my slow response. It was unavoidable. I have found my answer in a combination. The native file preview window and Irfanview in combination for different uses is perfect for me. Each are as fast as I could want them. Thanks to every expert that contributed to help. I appreciate you!!
