Riverbed and SD-WAN

Hi I am not very clear about relation between Riverbed and SD-WAN. I think Riverbed is wan accelerator locally, and SD-WAN  is also WAN accelerator globally. Do you think i am right? Thank you

Riverbed is a set of products (by no means inexpensive) and the Software WAN technology is (as I read it) to maximize performance;

Thank you very much for your explanation. It looks like SD-WAN works like DMVPN. Of course they are different thing, and SDWAN would have more functions. If we compared SDWAN with DMVPN or MPLS for speed, can we say SD-WAN would be faster?
