Need to encrypt files with PGP on Windows 7 before submitting with FileZilla

The user has to encrypt files with PGP on Windows 7 64 bit before submitting them to home office using FileZilla  SFTP

The home office recommended Symantec Desktop.   This product requires the purchase from a Symentec Partner

What alternatives can I use?  I would like to get this set up today.  I would like a product with an intuitive appearance rather than command line.

Thanks.

A number of zip programs (including 7-Zip) support encryption on password protected files. Just have to make sure the other end has the password for the file (which should not be transmitted at the same time as the file itself)

GNU PG
PGP has a desktop older version see if you can find a free one. and I think symantec is who purchased PGP.

Not sure whay you are after. for PGP you have to exchange keys in order for the encryption to work
each side gets the public key from the other. and uses the other's public key to encrypt such that only the person with the private key will be able to decrypt the message.

use password protected compressed Zip.

7zip can compress and password protect.
