I haven't replaced the fuser kit as of yet, however we've got one ordered and will try it out. <br />

I'm currently working with an HP LaserJet Enterprise M506 printer with a client and we've been having repeated issues with black streaking occurring across the page each time we attempt to print out a document. I've attached a scanned PDF document of a printed page from this printer for context.<br />
<br />
We've already attempted to replace the ink cartridge as well as the drum, however the issue is repeating past both of these changes. For the ink cartridges, the client is using a Premium Imaging Cartridge CE255X.<br />
<br />
Does anybody happen to have any ideas as to why we're not able to get these streaks to go away? Is it just a matter of using a genuine HP ink cartridge instead or does something else need to be done here?<br />

Hi there!

HP LaserJet M506 - Streaking Issues

A printer is a peripheral which makes a persistent human readable representation of graphics or text on paper or similar physical media. Traditional printers are being used more for special purposes, like printing photographs or artwork, and are no longer a must-have peripheral; 3D printing has become an area of intense interest, allowing the creation of physical objects. An image scanner is a device that optically scans images, printed text, handwriting, or an object, and converts it to a digital image. Hand-held scanners, where the device is moved by hand, have evolved from text scanning "wands" to 3D scanners used for industrial design, reverse engineering, test and measurement, orthotics, gaming and other applications.

Printers and Scanners

A Portable Document Format (PDF) is a file format consisting of an electronic image resembling a printed document and can be viewed, printed, and electronically transmitted. PDF files can store various types of data, including formatted text, vector graphics, and raster images. The page layout defines the location, size, and shape of each page and each item on the page. The information looks the same no matter what device or program is used to open it.

Hewlett Packard (HP)

A peripheral device is defined as a computer device, such as a keyboard or printer, that is not part of the essential computer (i.e., the memory and microprocessor). These auxiliary devices are intended to be connected to the computer and used in conjunction with it. Examples of external peripherals include mouse, keyboard, printer, monitor, external Zip drive or scanner, while internal peripherals include CD-ROM drive, CD-R drive or internal modem. Today's new devices, such as tablets, smartphones and wearable computing devices are considered peripherals as they can be connected and used on a computer system. The difference, however, is that these devices can run independently of the computer system.
