How can I blind copy contacts on text messages?

There is no such thing as BCC in the world of SMS messages .. in effect it’s a one-to-one transaction.  When sending bulk texts you are in effect sending the same message to multiple recipients one-by-one anyway.

If it’s a true SMS and not another form of messaging it is always from a number to another number 1-to-1. Please note that for example the MESSAGES app on Apple iOS is a hybrid messaging and SMS app and it mixes the 2 features together to allow the appearance of bulk messaging but it will send free messages to other iOS users and SMS messages to other devices.  If you're seeing the numbers of multiple recipients on a message you are sending .. then you're not using a pure SMS solution.

Bulk sending SMS is usually achieved either via certain apps or your own mobile service provider will have bulk sending services on their website.
 
It is not normal for a true SMS message to see the other recipients as they do not exist .. only the senders phone number or the number of the service provider who sent the messages.

For example lots of clubs, schools and other organisations use a wide range of apps to manage SMS lists and send messages out to their groups .. check with your service provider what they offer on their website or any apps they may have.

There are lots of apps and services that the ability to bulk send sms messages and all will not show any other recipients so the service indicated by John is a bit gimmicky in my opinion.

Unless John has used it and has some specific reason for recommending it I’d not think it offers anything which a standard bulk send sms service offers.

If you want to detail exactly what you’re trying to achieve perhaps we can advise you more specifically?

BCC is absolutely not a text function and text does not (should not) replace email with all these functions. All you can do is try the above and see

For Android OS, you can use Messages app or Hangouts app which are developed by Google and both apps can send Group SMS which is what you want.

I searched for Hit Em Up in the Google Play Store on my android phone.  Hit Em Up was not returned.  I did find it in the Apple App Store.  Maybe Hit Em Up is ios only.  Anyway, I did some digging for an android app.  I found an article that said MightyText would do BCC texting.  I installed it.  I couldn't see how to do a BCC text.  I sent a ticket to the help desk.  We'll see what comes back.  Thanks.

The android phone has the messaging app installed.  That's what I use.  I can send group texts.  The recipients can all see the other members of the group I messaged.  I'm looking for a way make the message appear to be a 1 on 1 text like BCC emails.

Also, what do you accomplish?   Text is 6 words bigger than Twitter and definitely not Email or made to be organized and kept like Email.

So why not just use Email for this function. Works great.
