Microsoft P2V converter

Hi, I was trying to use Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter to P2V and when it ask for credentials it fails out.

Im dooing this from the computer I want to convert.

Question can you convert from the physical computer, or do I have to do it from a third computer?  With VMWare converter I can do it from the local computer

Thanks all

You run it, and connect to a computer.

It's now End of Life since 2016, and no longer supported because it never worked properly and Microsoft never fixed it after 3.0/3.1!

Thanks Andrew, so I can't use it on the computer I want to convert?

You can do either...

just install and connect to itself....(all covered in the articles, make sure pre-reqs are covered and OS is supported)

(but it does not work 50% of the time!)
