User only wants to receive email from senders they approve of. Need a system that holds mail and notifies user

The user has a brand-new email account, and wants to control what senders they receive email from.
They have an Exchange account with Intermedia, a large hosting company.

I recall there being a company that had a system which receives and holds the email, notifies the user, and waits for the user to approve senders.

Can anyone tell me what companies offer this service?

Normally you would have a system like mail marshal or symantec on premise that would do that.

Not sure if Mimecast offers that service but you can let setup polices for email etc.

I ended up using my SonicWall Email Security device to create a whitelist.  Any name to the specified user that wasn't on the whitelist had a customer header added.  The SonicWall delivered all messages to my Communigate Pro Email Server, which had rules that processed mail and sent notifications based upon the header added by the SonicWall

Thanks.
