Limit Exchange Mobile Sync to just Calendar

We have users that would like to sync Exchange Calendars to their mobile devices.  Per company policy, some users are not to have access to email this unless approved by HR.  Is there a way to limit what is sync through some sort of Exchange mobile Device Policy?  I was hoping to give them the ability to sync calendars/contacts,  but not email?

I don't see any option in sync setting to set it none. Better user get approval from HR. Remember, company policy are designed for a reason. Giving access to unauthorized users, might lead to policy violation. As an admin, you should strictly follow company policy.

Nope there is no way to achieve that. The point of the activesync is the sync emails and their is no way to achieve that request.

Thanks guys.  I am working with HR on this, but wanted to see what our technical options were for other employees that just need calendar access. Right now they are forwarding private information to personal calendars so it is quite the fiasco.
