Outlook stuck at loading profile when one node of Exchange 2013 is down

Exchange 2013 when one member of DAG is down outlook gets at loading profile.  We are in the process of moving from Exchange 2010 to 2013.  I have two mailbox roles and two separate CAS roles with a kemp virtual load balancer  when node one in the DAG is down outlook will not open just sits as loading profile.  I if I bring up node one outlook will connect with no issues I am not sure why its not working.  Also if I disable the network adapter outlook will open in offline mode one I restore the network mail will flow to outlook on node two but if I close the issue starts over.  Any Ideas.

Usually this is due to the Outlook Anywhere addresses on the server not being set up to work as a CAS array. https://practical365.com/exchange-server/exchange-2013-client-access-server-high-availability/ has some information on this and should help you resolve it.

Both CAS server are set to mail.domain.com which is the FQND of the load balancer auth for external clients is set to NTLM and SSL offloading is checked.

Yeah if the mailbox is on the DB that is down, it will try to retry forever so it will be stuck.
