Using on board graphics for multiple montors Lenovo P330 ThnkStation

3 Monitor Setup Question

So I just purchased a Lenovo P330 Low Profile ThinkStation. I want to run 3 monitors, on board I have 2 displayports and 1 HDMI.. Any recommendations on using the onboard graphics to accomplish a 3 monitor setup?

We add a Video card in our Lenovo machines to provide multiple monitors with multiple displays.  Can you add a video card?

You can try an external device if need be.

I can but wanted to explore the limitation of onboard. I don't know much about DisplayPorts and wanted to know more..
You need to look at the machine specs. Our Lenovo machines need a dual monitor card
I did look but unfortunately I don't know much about displayports so I am going to add a Quadpro p400 and call it a day.. Thanks for the response..
The ThinkCenter machines we use all have Intel graphics integrated on the motherboard so adding a card is the correct way to solve the problem

For basic displays it'll manage. Get a couple of display port adapters and you can plug DVI/VGA/HDMI capable monitors in fairly easily.

if you are planning to use graphics intensive applications however, you're gong to struggle on the internal GFX card and should definitely add a GFX card for this purpose.

Yep, both Display Ports and HDMI work in tandem and are fully controllable via the Intel Graphics GUI. Got 3 beautiful screens running with no graphics card needed..
