Glare reduction is very difficult on LCD screens. This is because the screen incorporates an internal polarizer to make the pixels visible. Since the light coming off the screen is already polarized, attempting to use an external polarizer to cut glare (e.g., polarized sunglasses) has an effect of anywhere between no change at all, to complete elimination of the screen image. I have not seen a solution yet that I consider workable.
