I am trying to access my gmail account from Outlook. When I try to set it up, I get this message. <br />

microsoft apps &amp;&nbsp;services would like to read compose send and permanently delete all your email from gmail<br />

Does this mean it wants to take over everything from gmail and delete all my gmail emails before giving me Outlook access or does it just mean that Outlook will have these features going forward?

Does enabling Gmail access in Outlook require total disabling of gmail or just allowing Outlook to do what gmail would natively do
