RAM Upgrade SBS 2011
can we upgrade RAM in SBS 2011 running server from 16GB to 32GB, would it accept the change over or give problem?
As long as all RAM sticks are exactly the same, should be no issue
Not a problem, remember that 32GB is the Maximum supported by SBS2011

i don't see a problem form SBS 2011 or the Windows Server software running on the server computer.
the reality is, it actually depends on your hardware, not only software, as the memory size limitation is also related to your server's chipset and memory module design. so what's the server hardware? can you please advise the brand name and model number in full?

In a virtual machine no problem.
If the SBS is installed on bare metal verify with the server manufacturer as far as how the memory DIMMs are currently laid out and what needs to be purchased to make it happen.

As far as memory control goes: WSUS: Tame the memory usage in SBS.
Once can also tweak the Exchange memory usage settings but this is a lot more complicated.

The Operating system would be fine with upgrading the memory.
Worth checking your diskspace as it may also result in an increase in pagefile.
The hardware is where the main discussion is though. you need the right type of memory, some free memory slots and a motherboard that supports the amount of memory you're wanting.
