Need Help with QoS

Does anyone have any experience with QoS on Cisco switches? We have two locations separated by an E-Lan. We want to prioritize streaming video between the two locations but there will also be a lot of data going over the line too. There is no layer 3 stuff going on only layer 2 (2960 switches), so I guess that means I’m really trying to setup COS? I’ve never done this before so I’d appreciate any advice. Thanks. I'm also attaching a brief sketch of the current setup.

COS is a method of "marking" traffic, it is not a method of "policing" traffic, which is what most people mean by QoS (Applying QoS rules).

You will need a method of "discriminating" between your "streaming video" and other "data". ideally these will be set by your "application" and can then be "trusted" by switch.

You may find this of use

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst2960/software/release/12-2_53_se/configuration/guide/2960scg/swqos.html.

I would strongly suggest moving to routed site to site connections instead of stretching subnets between sites, especially when the intersite link has less bandwidth than the LAN bandwidth at each site.
Aside: Also if anyone every makes any VOIP calls, best to prioritize VOIP call packets.

When no calls are occurring, this prioritization will be a NOP (null/no operation), then when someone makes a call, their call audio/video will be smooth.

If you miss prioritizing VOIP calls, anytime a call is made while streaming video is saturating your network, calls will be filled with audio + video artifacts which may render calls impossible to make... with any acceptable quality...
Are the streaming video sources attached to dedicated or shared access ports?
