Hp smartmedia server red health light

Hp mediasmart server health issue
Looking at console, it is showing failing though it has least 100gb free.  It was also indicating files not in sync possible file open, though none are.  Others at random time not able to connect.  One computer think the first one, was running extreamly slow. Rebooted and it started running upadtes, finally started responding quicker.  Could this slow computer be causing this error by not syncing?  But could 1 affect others with this server?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

i would check first that all updates were run, and installed
then do the same for drivers
If I'm reading the right user guide it says to look on the network tab to display health notifications.

What type of media server you you have? LX100? EX490?

Is the LED solid or blinking?

If there is one, did you press the Status/Recovery button on the front of the device?

Can you post a screenshot showing the error message?

When press the button where will it display?
Heath CalhounAuthor Commented:
I tried pressing the button with paper clip, but nothing changed stayed solid red.

Where would i find the model?
If you can find the serial number you can look it up at https://support.hp.com/gb-en
You'll also get the bill of materials there if you need any spare parts.

It is a ex470.  Are these made any more?
They stopped selling them nearly 10 years ago. There's one on eBay priced at more than it cost originally as a collectors item.
