Hi experts.

To participate here, you need to be hyper-v administrator AND you need to be using hyper-V DDA (Discrete Device Assignment) with graphic cards.
All I want to know is the combination of host-OS guest OS (with build) and card modell that works for you.
Example:

Host OS: Server 2016 v1607
Guest OS: Win10 v1803
Card modell: nvidia quadro P2000

Any participant will get a fair share of the points in case that matters :-)

Not directly. Did some testing on NC series in Azure which uses NVIDIA Tesla P100 GPUs. Assume DDA in the background?

Hi.

Thanks, but I was hoping for experience on the administrative side of it.

If it is for a Server class hardware, you should check with the vendor because they have specific configurations along with any drawbacks.
I did some surface research two years ago and was faced with the above facts.

George, thanks, but I was looking for 1st hand experience that would confirm certain hardware/OS combinations to be working.
If you had tried it yourself, please list these.

McKnife, I don't have any specific info, I just wanted to warn you before trying something, because this specific feature is quite demanding.

Thanks for that :-)
Well, I was already trying last month. It seems that this feature does not work at all on server 2019 and I was hoping to find people here that can probably confirm this.

On 2016: It works in the constellation I described above, it doe not work with a 2016 server guest OS. It does not work at all on a 2019 server as host, regardless of the guest OS.

If you only google long enough, you'll find that very few people are successfully using this.

Giving up on this. It seems to be a technology that is hardly used at all and I am generally trying to stay away from niche technology.

Microsoft is doing it in Azure Cloud Services but they use Nvidia Tesla graphics processors (if I'm not mistaken) to provide DDA based Remote FX.

We may not use Azure (working in defense).
