Cant log into Quickbooks through Work Resource

I had this question after viewing QB Ent. 2011 - Reboot required loop - won't Open.

When using work resource and Quickbooks, I had an update for quickbooks and it went through. Told me to restart computer and i did. I restarted every computer that had anything to do with this. Still get the same response when trying to open  Quickbooks using work resources, Need to reboot computer to finish installing update. Can open quickbooks on server or any other computer but not through work resources.

Close QuickBooks on all workstations.

On the Server hosting QuickBooks, make sure:

(a) The server manager is running and is pointing to the correct Company data file.

(b) That the QBFCMonitorService is running. Maybe restart it for good measure.

Then start one QuickBooks and see if it connects.

I have done all that. All computers can log in except for this one user through work resource. I can log into quickbooks on the sever that uses work resources but not remotely.

Normally we do not allow direct remote access to QB as that can damage the company file.

We log into a machine in the office hosting QuickBooks and run it from there.

Haven't had any issues with it. Been running this way for a while. It asked to do an update and we accepted and now it wants us to restart computer. I've restarted every computer and server but still have this error

Run the QuickBooks Network Doctor from Intuit and see if it finds network or other errors impeding things.

I think it has something to do with the user profile. I had this happen when I first started using quickbooks this way and I had to create a new profile for it to stop working. The original topic talked about this but he didn't say what he found or how he fixed it

Unless the User Profile is damaged, it should not cause an issue with QuickBooks connection.  

Try a new Profile on one machine

I have another person that logs in remotely and she has no problems. It's always with the profile I'm using when I try to do the update that gives me problems after I do the update

If you have a number of users remotely accessing QuickBooks Enterprise, the only supported way is terminal server.

That you have made it work by direct remote access does not obviate my point that you can damage the database doing it that way

After reading several documents on this matter, I finally figured it out. I logged into server that was hosting the Work Resource with the users credentials and logged into Quickbooks. After I did this we were able to log into Quickbooks through work resource without any issues.
