Viewing Hosted Exchange Shared Calendars on iPhone

I know this has been asked a thousand times, but is has anyone ever figured out how to access a shared calendar on an iPhone?

We have a hosted Exchange environment and when you setup an iPhone you can only see your own email and calendar. The only trick I can think of would be to get another user's password, add their account, then uncheck everything but "Calendar" to sync as a way of viewing their stuff. I really don't want to do this, though.

I did download Outlook for iOS but I don't see an option for adding shared calendars in it, either.

Hello William,

Switch the calendars in Outlook for iOS
open the left menu
tap the add calendar button
tap add shared calendars
search for the person or group whose calendar you already have permission to access then tap the add button next to their name

Best of luck

Stacy, I saw the same msg board post you copied that solution from and NONE of those options are available in the current version of Outlook for iOS.
Ibrahim, Outlook for iOS doesn't do that any more.
The owner of the Shared Calendar needs to share the calendar by sending an invitation email to you before the same can be shared.

Afterwards, in Outlook for iOS, click Calendar and click the upper left icon of the calendar and you will see the screen below to add the Shared Calendar.

I have just tested it in my Outlook for iOS and my version of Outlook for iOS is 3.25.0 which is the latest version.

The requirement of seeing the Shared Calendar is that the owner of the Shared Calendar needs to expilcitily share the calendar with you.,
Did not work...I am on a hosted exchange and not Office 365. I shared a different calendar to my account and it gives no option to "add shared calendars"
Can you more details on the hosted Exchange environment? Say what is the Exchange version and the Activesysnc version?

Besides, are you the administrator of the  hosted Exchange?
I will have to double check...we are actually about to migrate over to a newer Exchange server soon. Yes, I have admin rights to it.
