Moving to the Cloud... News at 11

Experts,

We are working on a major project where we are moving from a legacy based environment to the "cloud".
> We have three critical informational assets that will be moving to the cloud:
1. Our HOA property management application - This will be moved and managed by the application software company.
2. A collection of folders where each folder contains the property documents, PDF, pictures, and etc. - This folder is nothing more than a collection of files, and is not used by our main software application.
3. A collection of folders where each folder contains our employee documents which are not related to our clients  - This folder is nothing more than a collection of files, and is not used by our main software application.

The goal of moving to the cloud is that all three of these assets can be accessed by our employees - Some from with in our main office and some by our remote field managers.

For IA's #2 and #3, we are looking at Google Drive or AWS, but to be honest, I am a bit "a fish out of water" with the cloud offerings and what is the best way to take advantage these offering.
> Based on my research, it appears that once we select which cloud based storage to use, we simply upload the files and the users can access these items via a browser - Which is pretty cool... BUT!!!
> I am concerned with the security of the IA's and how we can restrict their access - The Google and AWS documentation was a bit light on this topic.

Does anyone have any experience with this sort of implementation?
Any suggestions on cloud storage alternatives?
Any other precautions that I would need to take into consideration.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated...

Hello Scott,

Thank you for the input and I will look into the MS-Office-365 Storage as an option.

I will keep this question posted on my progress.
