take away permission accidentally given to a site

i use google chrome in ubuntu.  i accidentally gave permission to a site that i should not have.  they changed my homepage.  how do i take their permission away?

they changed my homepage it should say.  i changed it back and whatever permission they have allowed them to change it again.
In Google Chrome, type the url of the site that you want to change the permissions for. Then, click on the lock icon next to the url and you'll be provided with a menu and you can select Site Settings and then change permissions for that particular site.

You can also check settings for all sites:
chrome://settings/content/all

Often he allow this site to make my default home page is a one shot deal, there are no extended permission given.

I.e. When you visit any site, it asks to be made your default page....

i used what you said and i fixed it.  the site "document converter i had gone to.  it'd url is:

i  just went to the 3 dots in the upper right -> more tools -> extensions and deleted  "download converter'.
