Hi I Donno if you can do this or not but thought would ask.

I have a intranet connection that I want to put an excel file on and myself as administrator can add and delete data from it.

I have locations that can view the excel file but  I need it to be in read only and I also need some sort of button in the workbook  that a person can select a row and when click on paid they have to input their name and location and it disappear off the read only screens all over the locations but still be visible to the administrator until he deletes them himself.

Is this possible

You cannot do it with an Excel file.

You need some programming skills to do what you want.

You could probably get close by using Sharepoint with excel but I agree, this is really an application with a SQL back end and a Grid-view.

In which case.. you should be able to use SharePoint designer with Excel Server if you prefer to "use Excel" because it's "What you know"

But that's a question better asked in the Sharepoint topics.

I have added the Sharepoint Topics of relevance to the question so someone can help you design a Microsoft Flow or Sharepoint Designer Process to meet your needs.

FYI  to Topic Admins, Sharepoint Designer and Microsoft Flow are rejected Topics, however, Microsoft Dynamics is Rebranded as Flow, is there a way to alias that?  And Sharepoint Designer is still used and is often a mutually exclusive skillset from Sharepoint setup and administration.
