DVD drive controls windows devices

Are there any features/group policy options for WIndows 7/10 devices that could disable DVD drives from being used to write data to them, and only allow access based on exception/approval. I have seen some pricey DLP options but wondered if there is the same options as you can use for USB controls (e.g.bitlocker to go policies) on DVD drives for our desktop machines. Or any alternative solutions you deploy to prevent users burning sensitive data to a DVD, above and beyond disabling the drive itself?
