Hi,

Is it possible to show description field on the same field on the form in Microsoft access 2016? I already show the text in the status bar in the form but I want to show the description in the same field. Lest say, I want to write in the description in the field " please enter your name here"

How I can do that?

Thanks

Indeed not for a textbox bound to a numeric field.

But you could set the textbox's ControlTipText to your message.
Then, when hovering the mouse over the textbox, your message will pop up as a guidance.

Well... placeholder text is a great feature often seen in web applications but unfortunately Access doesn't support it..
You can play with position a label underneath the textbox and having it transparent it will show as "placeholder" but you have to "play" with the focus events to have it behave likewise
