Outlook Tasks versus To-Do list
I have set up Outlook so that it gives four windows on opening, namely calendar, inbox, tasks and notes using code I found on the internet.
I'd very much like the tasks folder to open to To-Do List rather than tasks.

I honestly am not sure where I got it from but can share the code.
The default view for Tasks should automatically be ToDoList ...no?
On another note, you may notice that having all of those windows open daily tends to slow down your Outlook experience

Thanks, Karen. I can see where you are coming from.
The default folder is 'Tasks' so every time I open Outlook I have another click to get to the To-Do List. Hardly life or death, but my OCD has kicked in and I want to find a solution!

Hmm, that is weird. If you just click on the Tasks Workspace, there are two folders: To Do List and Tasks . To do list shows all items flagged in email as well as any tasks you have created, but Tasks shows only self-created Tasks. The default view is the To-do list folder. I wonder if you need to navigate to Tasks and choose View>Reset View ?

Initially, the reset view is greyed out. If I change the view on the tasks folder to "To-Do List" it applies a pre-set view (which I could amend) but it doesn't go to the To-Do List folder and therefore flagged emails aren't showing.
Appreciate your advice though! Happy to try whatever.

Which version of outlook, check the vba as you may set the behavior there.
