Redirect based on Users Group membership

Hello, I am a SharePoint administrator.
I would like to add a Redirect function based on the users Group membership to our SharePoint 2013 site.
So when a user clicks a link on a home page, they will be redirected to a subsite based on the group they belong to
Since there are many groups in our site, I need to be able to manage the list of groups with the redirected URL's. Whats the best way to do this.

I have some seen some info our there, but nothing that is well documented and complete as to how to put it all togther

Not sure h how to do exactly what you want. Keep in mind that if you use the global navigation in SharePoint, it is security trimmed and does automatically link to sub sites if you have it set to automatic. Using that functionality you may be able to do what you want to do.

Thanks for your comment. Based on my research, I have seen coding in script editors webparts. Still trying to figure it out.
Apparently this is a common request, odd that there arent more examples and more feedback
