Transferring Word files to IPad Pages
Is it possible to transfer a word file on a memory stick to an apple ipad pages program (directly by which I mean not using any other device)
Here is another way that may involve some formatting changes.

I would like to offer the same number of points to both John and Eoin, but dont know how to do this. If i had simply marked both 'helpful' would it be possible for the question to be closed? I am under the impression I need to attribute the solution to someone in order to close the question.
Both experts gave excellent advice and pointed me in the right direction.
