Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS & Alpine commands to list patches & dates the patches are applied
I need to get a list of patches/updates (esp security ones) for Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS (versions 6 & 7)
and Alpine Linux (can't recall the version currently) with the dates they're installed/updated.
The following command (& CentOS 'rpm -qa') doesn't give the dates & appears to give the dates the
packages are installed, not when they are patched:
grep installed /var/log/dpkg.log
and Alpine Linux (can't recall the version currently) with the dates they're installed/updated.

grep installed /var/log/dpkg.log
