Veeam Backup

Hello All,

I would like to understand how many servers can be backed up with below licenses.

Veeam Backup Essentials Enterprise Plus 2 socket bundle

* 1 x VM = 1 x agent ?

* If not backing up the whole VM, agent can be used to backup the files from server ?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Veeam licensing has changed.  For Example: 20 licenses
18 VM's(multiplier x 1) , 2 Servers (multiplier x 1)

They sell the licenses in bundles of 10

This covers a 2 processor license on the host side. Ho many VMs are on that system can be backed up, looks like the old license model.  From a recent conversation with Veeam the multiplier is 1 for VMs and 1.5 for agent based physical servers.
