We have an application that needs to pass encrypted data between a server application and client application. We are currently using SslStream.<br />

We're having performance issues with the SslStream, in that when we have large amounts of data to send, it's very slow. The data is in XML format.<br />

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to speed this up? We're willing to implement a different communication method but need to retain the XML data.<br />
