Running out of hard drive space. How do I find which folders/files are consuming the most space?

I am running out of hard drive space and have deleted files which I do not need. Still my hard drive is running out of space. How do I search my hard drive to determine which folders or files are taking up all of my hard drive space? Note, I am on Windows 7.

I find WinDirStat (Windows Directory Statistics) to be the best program I have ever used for this.  I like it better than Tree Size Pro.

it would help if you gave us a bit more info :
- what disk size do you have, and how much free space is left ?
usually  - you can use the disk cleanup tool first : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026616/windows-10-disk-cleanup
also - you can delete th temp and tmp files
-you can copy your data to an external - or other drive
