Skype for Business shows a screen with a black background, when the screen is shared.

Skype for Business shows a screen with a black background, when the screen is shared.
OS: Windows 10
Office 365
Alternate solution: Just share the application instead of the entire window.
Possible root cause: Not enough network bandwidth  to share the screen.

Skype for Business, like Lync before it, and Teams after it, doesn't allow for sharing a "privileged" window. That is, a window where "run as administrator" has been used.

Would that explain what you are seeing?

No, I am not referring to that, the run as command was never initiated, and the problem is not consistent. Sometimes the screen can be shared, sometimes it cannot.
single monitor or multi-monitor are you attempting to show the right screen?
