Hi,

Please see https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/29149554/Powershell-and-Remedy-Force-automation.html?headerLink=workspace_open_questions

I d like to do the same for Jira (on prem).
Apparently there is an integration for Azure Devops there too, but then a cloud solution needs to connect to on Prem Jira...?

Thanks for input!

You can see my response in the question you referenced, but you will only need one web call for Jira, since it prefers to use basic auth. So here is a sample call to Jira:

$auth = "dXNlcm5hbWU6cGFzc3dvcmQ=" #base64 of 'username:password'
$resturi = "https://jira.atlassian.com/rest/api/latest/issue/JRA-9"
$restHeader = @{ 'Authorization' = "Basic $auth";'Accept' = 'application/json' }
$restResult = (Invoke-WebRequest $resturi -Method Get -Headers $restHeader)
Write-Host $restResult

Open in new window

See Jira's REST API.

Same as with Remedy, couldn't make it work due to MFA (cert), but can't show that it is not working so will consider as solved.
