WSUS - Windows Feature Updates

Our WSUS for some reason only goes up "Feature Update to Windows 10 Enterprise, version 1703"
We need to deploy windows 10 1809 feature update across domain, we're at a lose as to why our WSUS doesn't download the newer feature updates.  We've confirmed the classifications\products are set correctly.

Do you have a volume license from Microsoft?

WSUS itself needs to be up2date, some admins forget to configure it to even receive updates.

Just go to the VLSC page and login and download the update. https://www.microsoft.com/Licensing/servicecenter/default.aspx

Yes, but this wont help us deploy across domain.  This method we'd have to touch each individual machine to apply update, correct?

Sorry I thought this " we're at a lose as to why our WSUS doesn't download the newer feature updates. " Meant you couldn't download the actual update itself?

If you already have the update, then you can use http://www.wsusoffline.net/ which allows to deploy over network.

You also may want to check this out, FoD and SCCM. https://www.systemcenterdudes.com/deploy-sccm-feature-on-demand/

There is. Please share your WSUS version (see inside WSUS console) after you made sure it finds no windows updates for itself.

So I manage our WSUs through my workstation, which has version 10.0.17763.1. While the actual WSUS server shows version 10.0.14393.2007

As said, find the version inside the WSUS console.

See https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/4056890 which tells you that 10.0.14393.2007 means "last updated January 2018"!
Update your WSUS now.

10.0.17763.1 should pick up the 1809 feature update?

I don't understand what you are asking.
You should update your server, then worry about your client afterwards.
10.0.17763.1 is 1809, so it does not need a feature update to 1809, but it needs cumulative updates for 1809.

I'm fairly certain our Servers are licensed using LTSC.  Will this matter?

So I've ran Windows update on our WSUS server, no updates available.

So what are you checking against? WSUS against itself? Let it check against online update for a change.

Then there seems to be something wrong with your server as it does not detect updates. Please install the latest servicing stack update and the latest cumulative update for server 2016 1607:
First install https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4503537
then http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=KB4503294

Okay all seems to be okay, still don't see the 1809 option but all of our machines are getting upgraded to 1809 so i guess it got approved at some point.
