What version of Sharepoint? in 2013, we have seen this solved by deactivating and reactivating the Site Feed feature (in Site Settings -&gt; Manage site features)<br />
&nbsp;In 2016, PSCONFIG.exe -cmd secureresources has been known to fix this. <br />

However, these are only the ones I know of that have helped.
