Hi,

We have an issue with one of our mac cylinder.  It is stuck at the  progress bar with the apple logo, it doesnt go further.  Have tried the following with no luck

1. going to safe mode
2. resetting the PRAM
3. reinstalling the operating system without formatting

Appreciate your advise

Okay, the only other option might be to "Reinstall macOS" after pressing command+R. However, this will wipe all data. Have you backed up your data somewhere?

Have you reset the SMC first?  Unplug the power.  Press and hold the power button.  Release.  Plug in and boot.  You should do that ahead of the PRAM reset.
