PDF Files Rendering Incorrectly in Nitro Pro 12 vs Adobe - shows different numbers in editable fields.

We noticed that some PDF files show up incorrectly in Nitro Pro 12 compared to Adobe products. The documents are created in Adobe, but we expected the paid version of Nitro Pro to be just as capable of viewing PDF files. For example, some numeric values in Nitro Pro are different numbers than if they are viewed in (any) Adobe product, and the $ sign is missing. For example, the first field is $80 and the following 3 fields have different numbers, but in Nitro all 4 are just "80". Also, it has 11 pages instead of the original document's 9 pages (the logo is messed up and appears to create another page). Any solutions for this that we can resolve on the Nitro side? The document's properties show that it was created in "Adobe Livecycle Designer 11" with the PDF version being "1.7, Adobe Extention Level 3 (Acrobat 9.x) Files of page 1 in Nitro vs Adobe are attached. We tested older and newer versions of Adobe of which none have issues rendering.

Hi There,
This would automatically scream out to me that their are typeset differences. I Would personally re-export from Adobe if possible and make sure that all of the information is embedded in it.

Generally there's no guarantee that it will be compatible with 3rd party solutions but tweaking adobe end is what needs doing and not at Nitro PDF end.

What can the other end using Adobe do to export the document properly? I have been testing that myself and haven't had any luck having the document render properly in Nitro.
Have you got a sample file we could take a look at?
Hi,

Unfortunately, we can't upload the document in question due to sensitive information within, but we'll alert the business in question that sent the file created in Adobe and they might send a test document for us to upload. I'll keep the question open for now. Besides simply saving it as a non-editable PDF (which appears to resolve the issue using the "print to PDF" printer), but now the document isn't editable in Nitro), what else can we suggest for them to try?
Yes its obvious its compatibility errors between the two. You could get the adobe reader DC download and see if it opens correctly there. That would rule out a corrupt file, you could also use save as to try and see if you can open it in nitro then
I already tried that. The only way it displays correctly in Nitro from my troubleshooting is printing to "save as PDF" printer (though this removes all editable fields). Saving as in Adobe products doesn't have them display properly in Nitro.
In that case who is sending you the files will need to mess around with export options/compatibility options to find the optimal settings
