Samsung M2070 Sleep Mode

Say the Samsung M2070 enters a power saving mode and when a print job is sent to it it needs to be first "woken up" by pushing the "Power button or similar". ECO mode seems to be off but not sure. PC is running Windows 7.

How do we get it not to need being "woken up" before printing? A USB cable connects it to the PC. Tx SW

My printer (not Samsung) wakes up on its own. It just takes a bit longer.

If your Samsung is not automatic, turn power saver OFF altogether

Anyone know for this model where to set this - on panel or in software?
There is a solution here (yes  HP forum) about 3 or 4 posts down for your Samsung printer

And if John's suggestion does not work, try resetting the printer to factory defaults. I found this suggestion:

Press MENU,#,1,9,3,4,MENU.
Within 3 secs. select TECH MODE.
Scroll to display SERVICE FUNC. Here factory reset can be done using CLEAR ALL MEM.
Hdhondt - I don't believe this is for this model printer as I can't see tow to carry out the steps from MENU,# etc

Pls confirm.

John  in the link you rpovide above: This Menu item ( Sync through Web)  is "greyed out" and I can't access it. Pls advise :  Open the "Samsung Easy Printer Manager"
2) In the menu box on the right, choose "SyncThru Web Service." That will open up your printer status/settings page in a web browser
I am not sure why greyed out on your system.

Try this link for resetting the printer.

I am not sure if some steps are the same as posted above.
It seems very hard to get reliable information on your printer. I could not even find a data sheet.

I assume it is the Xpress M2070 Multifunction printer. If that is correct, you should be able to access the factory reset from the front panel, somewhere under MENU > SYSTEM SETUP

One possibility I found is Menu > System Setup > Machine Setup > Clear Setting
can you test the printer on another pc - to be sure the problem comes from the printer - or not?
@nobus power save is a printer feature, not a driver issue.
that may be - but just test it....
with PC's i've seen more than 1 cat turn all of a sudden into a dog...
