How to make sure that people can download my app?

I have an SSL on my website.
I have "code signed" my exe.

Chrome and FireFox both warn that my exe "is not commonly downloaded and may be dangerous"

Is there a solution to this? Does this mean that after a few million people ignore this a download it that the message will go away?

Archive the file as a .zip and use that for the download.

Scott... I've seen other post where the zip contains an exe and they get the same message. In addition that means that the user needs know to unzip, find the exe and then install it. Could be an issue.

For Chrome, ensure that your site and application follows the guidelines in the link, then you can request a review in the Security Issues report.

two different areas: web download and signed code
each requires a bunch of downloads and installs and then over time becomes trusted..
