system volume dedup chunkstore clean up
Hi,
My system volume\dedup\chunkstore\{. .. }.ddp\data path has grwon to over 1 Ter.
How can u go about cleaning up or limiting the Amount of space that the sys vol is allowed to use?
i had already set a limit on the size which shadow copies can grow to as also re-directed the location of the shadow copy for the drive in question to another drive.

You can't as that is the deduplicated data
Here is an article on some PowerShell commands to cleanup the dedup storage:

Hi Davis,
It seems i have a unique situation here.
i ran the garbage collection, but it changed nothing.
@David,
Certainly there must be a way to reduce the size of the chunk store.
It cant be a case where the chunk store is almost 4 times the size of the data that is stored on the disk.
